Feeling somewhat tired tonight after a week at work. Resolve Rating is a lot lower than I want it to be. The whole thing of work is having an effect on me and it's being quite triggering. I've made it to the weekend sober though so can relax now, have some R n R. Going to a 12 step meeting tomorrow morning and planning to do some stepwork over the weekend and I've got a few outreach calls to return. Quarter of a century in days sober today! So that equals my most recent run of sobriety, if I can stay sober tomorrow I will beat it.

Sorry for no entry yesterday, was just a really busy day, though that's no excuse. Anyway, still on this sober run which is great. As you can see from my resolve rating not being at 100%, I have been dealing with a few temptations. Keep saying to myself that thing about not letting the people pissing you off at work to get the better of you - acting out is letting them win!
I started doing some stepwork at the weekend, might continue with that tonight, or continue it when I am fresher at the weekend and watch some recovery videos/podcasts tonight. Either way I need to make up for time I didn't put into recovery work last night.

Thought for today that I want to remember - if you act out you are letting the people at work who you feel are targetting, annoying and spiting you get the best of you. Don't let them win! Stay sober and you win!

Been feeling a bit bored today, I've had chores to do and that combined with the anticipation of work tomorrow has put me in a dangerous mood as far as acting out goes. I have stayed sober though which is great. I think going to the meetings has helped. I also did some outreach calls earlier to people I have met at the meetings. Asked someone if they would be my sponsor and I am going to start working the 12 steps with him from today onwards.
